V300 text messaging
Can anyone tell me how many characters the v300 can send in one SMS please?
It seems to send two pages on even the shortest of messages. My previous phones allowed as much as 300 characters but this phone seems much less.
Also, the instruction book I was given is vague in the extreme. Is there an on-line one I can access?

Yes I know it can hold 450 characters ( I can see the little countdown on the screen) but occasionally I have sent texts with nowhere near that amount of characters and the screen briefly shows '1 of 2 sheets' inferring that it has divided the message into two. Question is.... how many constitutes ONE?
