If you're thinking about switching to AT&T, don't, unless you want to quit your job and become a full time customer.

I recently purchased a Siemens sx56 device through AT&T, b/c it provided all of the features I wanted. Unfortunately, one must go through AT&T, wherein the problem begins.

They will literlly leave you on hold for up to 2 hours, lie to you that they fixed things they never did, and there's no way to actually get anyone to either call you back or you call a person back.

If you are in biz, and you're time has any value, pick a different unit and definitely different provider, b/c you will literally be left stranded by AT&T w/out service or recourse of any kind.

Hi, anyone knows if this model is coming to ATT at all? Lately I have been disappointed with the new designs from Nokia and am only waiting for this. If it does not come, I am considering moving to Sony Ericsson which has been releasing more ergonomic models. I read from this web site under TMobile that the Nokia 660 is coming to TMobile EXCLUSIVELY. Anyone able to verify that?

Well you guys keep up the charade. I hope you're "If you don't like it Mr. Customer then piss on you" attitude keeps the money coming in. I seriously doubt it. Customers catch on. This is why ATTW has the highest defect rate as metioned by Forbes mag.

I was wondering if anyone has had the same terrible experience with ATT Wireless that I had. I ordered a phone over the Internet with the idea of switching to ATT from Verizon --mainly because I like ATT's selection of phones. Recieved the phone and found that there was NO signal at my house (Verizon phone sitting next to the ATT phone had five full bars of RF signal strength.

It took me 2 phone calls with each being on hold for nearly 45 minutes just to get to someone who could send me a shipping label so that I could send the phone back to ATT. With the time I spend on the phone, I could have driven the phone back to ATT... What a nightmare of customer service. 😢

anyone in here a real dedicated employee? I swear you try to reply directly to some people and it says I will not reply using company time or using company equipment. GIVE ME A FRIGGIN BREAK... pardon my french. How stupid, come to work and be a robot, people like that I will never understand or get along with.

I have been reading most of these forums for months now, and of all the carriers' forums. It seems the ATTWS forum is the most abused.
It seems like these people have nothing else to do than bitch!
Why not teach them a lesson, and shut down this forum(ATTWS forum) for a few days?
This may calm the masses and maybe some of the people will wake up to see stupidity and arrogance will not be tolerated.

I just had the most incredible conversation with ATTWS CC. I ported 4 lines from ATTWS to VZW on 11/24 and finally the last line ported successfully on 12/4. Now I received a bill from ATTWS that said I still have 2 lines active with them! I called and talked to CC and the guy told me that two of my lines are still active on his computer so I must still be with ATTWS. I got him to transfer me to somebody in the Resolution Group and talked to this lady but I couldn't convince her that I was GONE! She said that on her computer my 2 lines are still with ATTWS and there's no way to verify that I had ported over to VZW - even though there's no activity on those 2 lines in the last month!!!!!!!!! I asked her to contact ATTWS's LNP center but...

First let me clarify something: I am a HAPPY customer of AT&T wireless and I DO NOT work for the company!! Ok now that that's done let me get to my point:

I have been on phone scoop for only a week and I constantly see people saying AT&T is this and that etc. Not everyone is going to get what they want all the time. I will say this though it is a FACT that the wait to speak to someone in CS is a bitch but when I finally do get to talk to someone they are very nice and they help me out with whatever it is I have a problem with.(FYI it does help to talk to people nicely) Now don't get me wrong I am not sitting here waving the AT&T flag for peace but all carriers have something wrong with them. For all you customers that spent too much $$ on xmas gifts for family and friends, now you are gettin all stressed out because the bills are all rolling in, please do not think that by calling into customer care you will get cr on your invoice for nothing. You used the phone you will be charged just the same as always, if you need extra money return some of the stupid **** you got for xmas and get some cash for it to put on your bils, please don't call Customer Service reps up and yell at them for your mistakes!!!!

For all those people who want to know who's the #1 carrier, and how other carriers rate. I believe in the feb. issue will have the "low down" on the cell world.
I don't believe in the J.D. Powers reports but CONSUMER'S MAGAZINE states the facts.
I read last year's issue and they were right on in their facts.
So all you people out there who are interested in the facts, wait for the C.S.'s feb. issue to come out, you may be surprised! 🙂
