wikipedia is the shiznit, but blocked now, hot topics says its the reverse, that jamaica is blocking us carriers and int'l carriers....

"All Jamaican carriers began blocking all US carriers on June 5, 2005 due to a trade issue. There is a blocking issue in Jamaica in which all US carriers and several foreign carriers are being blocked. Customers are not able to roam or make international calls to or from Jamaica. AT&T Long Distance is actively working with the US government to resolve this issue"

US gov't banned medical use of marijuana in the supreme court, citing a 1942 ban on growing "wheat" (as in bread / flour) for personal consumption, saying that a commodity cannot be grown outside of the national pool of said commodity whether it is wheat corn or marijuana because it throws the economic laws of supply and demand out of order an causes issues with pricing.... 🙄

Needless to say, Jamaica was not amused 😉
