Bay Area GSM Useless? CDMA better?
Are the dead spots in downtown Mountain View on GSM or TDMA?
I live in Palo Alto, but I'm pretty much traveling back-and-forth between Palo A., Mountain V., Menlo P. and Los Altos.
I used to have TDMA up until 2 years ago and it was pretty much awesome. Then I went to Verizon to get the V60c which was also flawless except for one big, solid black hole in downtown Los Altos, so last year I returned to AT&T, but decided to try out their GSM network instead, and I have to say that I'm pretty dissapointed. I've been thinking about going back to TDMA even if their phones are....bland. However, I've heard some people mention lately that even their TDMA net isn't up to what it used to be. (The reasons being anywhere from ATT not maintai...

LG VX4400 Battery Life - Which has greatest Talk Time?
I am a heavy user of cellular - averaging about 900 Peak and 500 off peak minutes each month.
So, obviously, battery life is a big deal for me.
It looks like there are 3 or 4 batteries out there for the LG-4400. 950, 1400, 1500 and 1600mAh.
You would think the 1600 would provided the greatest amount of Talk Time - but I'm not sure that is true based on what I've read.
What has been everyones experience with various batteries?
Which one has offered the greatest number of Talk Time minutes in a Digital environment? (I live in Pittsburgh. So, most of my Talk Time will be in a Digital area.)
Also, what would be considered a 'good' price for the best battery? ...
