Getting ready to purchase the i875.....

I currently own a i285. But I have trouble hearing on it because I wear hearing aids. I am considering buying the i875 after doing research because it is considered HAC (Hearing Aid Compatible). I probably won't use all the features it comes with because it is mostly for emergency use and checking e-mails and texting. (But then again who knows...) Smile My question is will I be able to use the SIM card from my i285 in the i875 in order to keep my same phone #? Thanks again. It is great that they are making more cell phones to work with hearing devices.

Area Codes for Boost Mobile

I have called Boost Mobile several times tring to get the area code (51Cool. Some representatives tell me that it is possible to get a 518 area code but that there arent any phone numbers available currently. When I ask them when they will become available, they tell me they dont know and to keep calling. Other reps tell me that it is not an area code that boost mobile has in their system at all. Is there any way to get accurate information? Does anybody know when 518 will become available?

How is the i455 for text/etc. messaging?

Hey -- so the i450 is history, and the i455 is the new low-end guy.

SO, does this fix the messaging problems that the i450 had? Anyone have one?

Jess -- any reports from the field either way?

Thanks!

How to read unreadable text message?

Hello all,

I have a text message that I can't read -- whenever I click on it to read it, it thinks for a while then says "Failed to receive message".

I've tried it for three days... and turned the phone (i450) off a couple of times. What to do?

Thanks!

Using my own picture for wallpaper on i815

How in the world do I use a picture in "My Pictures" for wallpaper?! I have some pictures of my own that I sent to myself and I can view them on the phone. The factory-installed wallpapers are also in "My Pictures" along with my own pics, but in the wallpaper settings the only pictures listed are the factory-installed ones (none of which I like at all).

The crappy Nokia phone I had with Tracfone let me use my own pictures for wallpaper -- please tell me I can do the same with my i815.

Hear this!

This is for all who use their phones in public and love to speak LOUD during conversation.
What I love is when someone gives their number out loud to either person on the other end of the phone or yells it across the room. So what do I do. I call fron another phone that can't be traced, and tell them I will keep calling them (no cost to me) to teach them a lesson not to speak so loud next time! Yes, this may be immature, childish, rude and mean. But if you think you are so "cool" to be obnoxiously loud, you get what you deserve, a prank call.
Now I am sure you probably wouldn't be happy to hear this, so tell all your buddies to keep their voices down! Or you could be the next idiot I call.
If I want to hear your conversation or...

Here's some INTERESTING 411 regarding Boost by Sprint Nextel Inc.

If you are thinking about switching to or purchasing a Boost service, check out this article concerning it. This summary was posted this past Wednesday here at phonescoop.com and the full article can be read at the URL below it. I'm quite curious to see how Sprint Nextel Inc. is going accomplish this feat.

Sprint To Rein In Boost
Wednesday, 5:33 PM source: Kansas City Star

Sprint COO Len Lauer said that the carrier will make changes to halt the growth of its youth-focused MVNO Boost. Boost is outpacing Sprint growth, and is getting large enough that it will soon put a strain on Sprint's iDEN network. The iDEN network is already under pressure because Sprint was asked to give up a portion of its iDEN spectrum to the FCC in order to ...

i415 - Too big?

I might get the i415, but I'm just worried it's to bulky and big.

For all i415 owners, is it too big that it is annoying? Does it bulge out of your pocket alot?

Thanks,

Goober8 Very Happy

Ringtone not what it is on web site

Eh? Mad I just paid 2.99 for ring tone Don't Cha by *****cat dolls and on boost website in preview mode it's "don't cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me, don't cha wish your girlfriend was a freak like me" but after it downloaded to my phone it only says " Don't cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me" total misrepresentation on boost part. Not very happy at all and for 2.99 it should have more lines than that?! Any suggestions or fixes?

Thanks.

Boost Handsets on Nextel Network

I seen a thing on sprints site that says you can bring your boost phone to the nextel network. But a sprint rep said it cannot be done, that boost phones do not work on the nextel network. I need a nextel phone. I was thinking that it would be great if I could get a I875 and use it on nextel with my old sprint number!!
