I'm thinking about upgrading my phone from an unlocked i860 to a i875. Can I just take my sim card from the i860 and put it in an unlocked i875 and be ready to go? Or do I need to call Boost Mobile for this to work? I currently have about $70 on my account, will that carry over to the new phone? Also, I would like to sell my i860 to a friend. Would Boost Mobile give him a hard time if he were to activate that phone with another sim card?

since those hybrid cdma/iden phones (ic502) came out, i think boost should carry those phones. Boost mobile is the reason y nextel's IDEN network is crammed, instead of releasing that phone to nextel, boostmobile should get it, it will probably reduce the strain on the iDen network tenfold. Most boost users, use PTT/DC watever you want to call it, that phone could dramatically solve nextel's capacity problem.

Hello! We just got two i415's today and have a question...

We've been trying to chirp my sister-in-law who is a Nextel customer but when we do our phones say "USER NOT REACHABLE A5"
What does this mean?? Her walkie-talkie # looks like this: 0*00*00000 which looks different from our numbers which are like this: 000*0000*0000

I'd appreciate any help!! 😁

I already have the Raptor Pro software to unlock the i860,i835,285,730,215's, but it won't work on the 415. Does anyone know what software will work and where I can get it without spending a ton of cash? Is there a chart that I could use to manually calculate the code? Thanks

I currently own a i285. But I have trouble hearing on it because I wear hearing aids. I am considering buying the i875 after doing research because it is considered HAC (Hearing Aid Compatible). I probably won't use all the features it comes with because it is mostly for emergency use and checking e-mails and texting. (But then again who knows...) 🙂 My question is will I be able to use the SIM card from my i285 in the i875 in order to keep my same phone #? Thanks again. It is great that they are making more cell phones to work with hearing devices.

I have called Boost Mobile several times tring to get the area code (51😎. Some representatives tell me that it is possible to get a 518 area code but that there arent any phone numbers available currently. When I ask them when they will become available, they tell me they dont know and to keep calling. Other reps tell me that it is not an area code that boost mobile has in their system at all. Is there any way to get accurate information? Does anybody know when 518 will become available?

Hey -- so the i450 is history, and the i455 is the new low-end guy.

SO, does this fix the messaging problems that the i450 had? Anyone have one?

I have boost service and have been using a nextel i-860 for 6 mo. with no problems now I can't send text messages. I can recieve them just fine. I called boost and they tried something, still nothing so I called back transfered to sprint web department they told me my text would not work because I was using a nextel phone. So I waited a few days and called back boost transfered me to tech support he "reset my phone" and said it would work now still nothing!!!!!! Is there anything I can do??? As it is right now I can only send text messages to my husband on nextel network or to email addresses. Please help

How in the world do I use a picture in "My Pictures" for wallpaper?! I have some pictures of my own that I sent to myself and I can view them on the phone. The factory-installed wallpapers are also in "My Pictures" along with my own pics, but in the wallpaper settings the only pictures listed are the factory-installed ones (none of which I like at all).

The crappy Nokia phone I had with Tracfone let me use my own pictures for wallpaper -- please tell me I can do the same with my i815.

my carrier is verizon wireless, with them u can e-mail yourself ringtones by simply sending the clip to (your10digit#)@vzwpix.com. Anyways... i was wondering if there was any way to do this with boost mobile service and what the adress would be to send it to. any help is welcome thanks.

can somebody please summarize the pros and cons of boost for me? please try to be as unbiased a possible.

This is for all who use their phones in public and love to speak LOUD during conversation.
What I love is when someone gives their number out loud to either person on the other end of the phone or yells it across the room. So what do I do. I call fron another phone that can't be traced, and tell them I will keep calling them (no cost to me) to teach them a lesson not to speak so loud next time! Yes, this may be immature, childish, rude and mean. But if you think you are so "cool" to be obnoxiously loud, you get what you deserve, a prank call.
Now I am sure you probably wouldn't be happy to hear this, so tell all your buddies to keep their voices down! Or you could be the next idiot I call.

Uhm. Will a 64k boost sim card work in a i870? No, I do not mean a i875.

I might get the i415, but I'm just worried it's to bulky and big.

For all i415 owners, is it too big that it is annoying? Does it bulge out of your pocket alot?

🤨 😡 I just paid 2.99 for ring tone Don't Cha by *****cat dolls and on boost website in preview mode it's "don't cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me, don't cha wish your girlfriend was a freak like me" but after it downloaded to my phone it only says " Don't cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me" total misrepresentation on boost part. Not very happy at all and for 2.99 it should have more lines than that?! Any suggestions or fixes?
