Expanded coverage????

Is there any chance USCC will ever come out with a "semi national" plan like Alltel's National Freedom or Verizon's Americas Choice (or most other carriers for that matter have?) One where you get nights and weekends nationwide? One where you can add a share talk line nationwide? One that has free mobil to mobil minutes? I am really tempted to switch to Alltel, however USCC's reception kicks butt over everyone else's and that is a major concern also. (in Green County WI alone the tower count is as follows: USCC 9, Alltel 3, Sprint 2, Nextel 1) Just wish they would get in the game a little more and come up with roaming partners to provide a better plan than just the regional ones.

Pocket PC Smartphones?

I've heard on this forum that there may be two new smartphones by Christmas. Any ideas on model numbers or operating systems? I know Verizon has a couple Pocket PC based smart phone in addition to the Kyocera 7135 Palm-based phone (which US Cellular also has).

Sublock codes

Sublock codes are proprietary information. If you notice, no other forum has people asking for codes. There are stores where you can get it. If they won't give it to you, find someone else who will, otherwise maybe you shouldn't have it! 🙄

Switching numbers between 2 USCC phones?

Does anyone know how I can go about switching the phone numbers on two different USC phones? Same account but just they would like to swap phones but keep their numbers. Can anyone help me on that, or do I have to go back to USC and ask them to do it, if so is there a charge for the service? Thank you.

Sublock / service programming code.

I have a Nokia 6385 retired from US Cellular. I no longer can use US Cell in my area and I want to use the phone again with another provider (Verizon) and it is locked and needs the "Service Program Code:" in order to change the phone number and mobile id and all the NAM selections etc. The phone is a tri-band and works better than the phones provided by Verizon (you can make credit card and calling card calls or just talk to the 611 operator on my Nokia in my area using Verizon service and its so clear even on 1-2 bars of signal verses 3-4 bars on my current Nokia 3589i Verizon phone.

All the info about the phone:
Nokia: 6385
Type: NHP-2AX
Code: 0508902KJ30
ESN HEX: 480FA6E3
ESN: 072/01025763

If you need more info about the phone...

I need some codes

I sure could use some help, although if you are a US Cellular employee and don't consider this proper, I do understand.

I have some phones that I bought for resale. They are Audiovox 9500's, customer returns. The problem is that they are locked to USCC and for me they would sell better if they were unlocked. Supposedly they were - my supplier told me twice that they were open. I could insist on a refund from him, but they are such beautiful phones, I hate to do that. Good used phones are not always easy to come by - and the Audiovox 9500 is really a nice one for us.

Anyway, I have 15 phones, and need SPC's. Now, these are a profit item for me (we make our living selling on Ebay), so I am willing to pay you for your time. I...

New Phones on USCC

Everyone's favorite subject, new phones being offered by USCellular...

I have been with USCellular in the piedmont Virginia area for 2 1/2yrs and have been for the most part satisfied with the service. However, I've had the same 'free' Nokia 5185i since signing up. I'm considering a new telephone, maybe even switching carriers to *gasp* Alltel to see how the other half lives. It seems their plans are a little better and phones a little less expensive (US Cellular and Alltel offer almost identical lineups of phones), but I've also heard almost nothing but bad things about their network. I'll probably stick with USCellular.

Does anybody have recommendations on what phone to go with? I thought I might go with the VX6000 until I realized t...

HELP

Can an US Cellular or US Cellular Agent plesae help me? I am a customer of Verizon Wireless, and even though I realize that this is NOT the Verizon forum, I still have a question. My parents live in Cass County, Indiana and as soon as I get to Cass County (Galveston), I can only make calls, I can not receive calls, and I am in solid roam.

I have asked Verizon why this happens, and they do not know, they blame it on my phone.Any help will be appreciated.

PTT

Anyone have any clue as to USCC's PTT path? Cutting the network over to CDMA... Who will they align themselves with? Verizon or Alltel?

SmartPhones with US Cellular?

I'm new to US Cellular and love 'em! (Just wish EasyEdge worked in MA).

Being a gadget freak...I'm wondering if they'll ever offer smartphones? I'd really like to get something similar to the high-end Motorola phones so I can get full emails, etc.

Currently using the 8900.

Thanks folks!
