What android phones could be coming to USCC?

Anyone have any idea what type of Android phones US Cellular may be getting in the next few months? My Contract is up in March, and I would like to stay with US Cellular if possible -- but I really want a nice Android phone.

US Cellular vs Verizon

US Cellular unlike other companies does not make their customers guinea pigs. We do not test our phones out on the customer. Our phones go through an extensive testing procedure again and again and if they don't feel it meets the standards....It gets dropped. O just found out verizon is dropping their phone lineup from 80 phones down to 30.

Help, please!!!! Potential new customer.

Hello,

I am currently with Verizon and considering porting to USCC, but a friend told me to be careful. He was driving from Denver to Chicago about a year ago, and claims that several people have said they tried to call his USCC phone along the way, and they (the callers) heard about 4 rings, but his phone never rang. So my question is this: When a USCC phone with a Chicago area number is roaming on Sprint, VZW, or another CDMA carrier, will that phone still accept inbound calls, while roaming?

This is the only issue giving me pause in porting to USCC.

Thanks in advance.

Spring Rebate form!

I just noticed this posted over at HowardForums...of course, the big news is that the expected USCC Android handsets are on this form, which suggests a July (or sooner!) release...

Why are people so involved with their cell phones?

I have seen so many posts lately that start such heated conversations about which carrier is best and why. Is it plausable that certain carriers work well in different areas? And that some carriers may offer cool phones while others focus on having better networks?

And why is it everytime someone asks a question some moron that thinks he's a tech genius has to pipe up with why they are stupid?

Its a phone people its intended purpose is not to revolutionize your life or to do your job for you. Web browsers and bluetooth are features of a phone not its sole purpose.

Tour2/Essex (9650)

USC has done a much better job of getting the new BB's in the line up (Tour & Curve 8530). Rumors are spreading that the Tour2 could be launched by Q1 (to Verizon). Think there's a CHANCE we could see this one come to USC too? Drooling

Ringback Tones

I had a note that I would receive new credits on 3/9/10 for my ringback tones account. When I log into Tone Room Deluxe it doesn't even show me as a subscriber anymore under my account info and shows I have zero credits.

Anyone else dealing with this?

On hold with USCC..

Help in comparing Motorola Crush & LG Banter UX265

I'm considering buying a new phone and have narrowed it down to the Motorola Crush or the LG Banter UX265. The most important items for me are quality of calls, reception and having a qwerty. I don't care about the Internet or smart phone features. Any comments on these two phones would be helpful.

Return Phone due to MS software issue?

I went with the HTC Touch Pro back in August. My computer runs XP, so would use MS's ActiveSync. I have done everything over the ensuing months, short of reformatting my hard drive or buying a new computer, to get the software loaded. While the phone's fun to play with, if it can't sync with my computer, it's just a toy. I have an application for my home biz that I want installed on the phone, which was the reason I went with the TP. And I'm on my second one - I had to send the first back in December because the sliding keyboard came loose and the phone didn't seem to like that. What are my chances of taking the TP back to USC and telling them that I want to switch to a Blackberry?
