Southern LINC is a regional carrier serving mostly Alabama and Georgia. They are owned by Southern Company, a large utiltiy conglomerate in the Southeast. Southern LINC uses Motorola's iDEN technology, which offers unique features such as the "walkie-talkie" Push-To-Talk feature. They use mostly the 800 MHz (cellular) frequency band. They offer Motorola phones exclusively, since Motorola is the only manufacturer of iDEN phones.

Coverage Area: Southeast US, including Alabama, Georgia, southeastern Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle
