I have used 35Gigs a month or more since Sept 2011 with Verizon(Motorola Bionic). PDAnet app w/unlimited data. Never received a warning or any throttling of my speed. I used 70gigs last month 
. No cable/internet bill. Computer connected to Flat screen, netflix/hulu, pix/video uploading to facebook and youtube.
If you have unlimited, you should be able to do whatever the hell you want as that was in the contract terms when you signed up originally. Whether your Verizon or ATT.
