IMS, Not VoLTE, is the Future of Voice with T-Mobile

I don't think so. I know that it does not matter the version of android, from what I understand, the phone must have built-in IMS capability. So far the only phones that T-mobile offers with that new IMS wifi calling is the Amaze, Galaxy S II, and LG Mytouch + Mytouch Q. No other current phones can be used for IMS calling, which would lead me to believe that the phone must support it.
If that is true, then some kind of client should be downloadable in the future -- but I am not sure.
