What the FCC has approved so far is a dual-mode (digital-only) phone. The press release said tri-mode. That's all I know... 
Audiovox typically does both versions, and Verizon typically offers the digital-only one. You might see USCC, or even Sprint, offering the tri-mode version. But that's pure speculation - anything could happen.
