You and me both. I can't wait for Sprint to go knocking on Verizon's door begging for mercy only for Verizon to slam the door saying, "we don't want or need you". Sprint's problem is that their poorly managed. They make nothing but one bad business decision after another. Nextel, QChat, WiMAX, etc. Just idiots. They should just merge with Cricket and MetroPCS and go prepaid.

Not a bad idea. Half their customers are ghetto hoodrats, have bad credit and cheat the system by getting on SERO plans costing the company millions.

Why all the hate? Sure they made some real bad choices. But I don't want to see them or anyone else fail. There's enough unemployment in our nation.

...because folks who post hateful things about Sprint are clueless morons who live in the past & don't research anything.

Well said gloopey1, I really don't get why people hate Sprint and wish them to "go away" ....makes no sense. Verizon and at&t continuously raise rates and attach limits while Sprint institutes consumer friendly practices. And it drives me crazy when people say Sprint was stupid to implement Wimax. THEY HAD NO CHOICE BUT USE THE SPECTRUM OR LOSE IT. I swear people are so stupid and uninformed... or working for other carriers posting ignorance to slander Sprint.

I hate Sprint because I think they're a terrible company with lousy customer service but I don't want to see them disappear, I'd rather see them improve.....

It's sad because Sprint used to be a good company, they used to have great coverage, great prices and excellent service, but sometime in the late 90's the company just completely went to crap and has never recovered.....

Things have been getting better for Sprint recently...but it still isn't good is time to fire Dan Hesse, and maybe get rid of the entire board...

i completely agree .. as a ex cor - employee that company needs a total shake up and get rid of the management .. if it has any hope of moving forward! and its not trolling -- its the truth! thats why i work for att now!

your nickname is lame, and sprint easily the best value in wireless and doesn't charge nearly the same insane rates as the competition...

sounds like a moron that burned bridges after their own mistake

is 100% correct. There seems to be some kind of deliberate move to ruin Sprint from the inside through bad management. It's literally one useless and incomprehensible promotion or program after another with them. I work for a preferred retailer for Sprint, so my policies and procedures differ from theirs, but I honestly don't know if I could stand to work at a corporate store. Sprint Direct connect? Biz 360? Promising unlimited data to customers indefinitely? Just wait till that one backfires on them.

Contrary to what you guys want to think, the truth about Sprint couldn't be further from the delusions written here.

PhonePoop (because please, there's really no scoop here, only poop on this site) harbors too many uninformed mud slingers.

Sure, there are a couple of people like me, who actually work for a real carrier (and have for 16 yrs), and then there are the 5-10 who fake working for a carrier around here too, mostly to enjoy spreading false crap they, well, since it's crap they obviously pulled it out of their butts.

Personally, use who has best coverage for you. There's not 1 person here that can say Sprint has horrible coverage everywhere, and to compliment that there's not 1 person here who can say Verizon has the best co...

Speaking for myself here, I never compared/contrasted Sprint with other carriers. At the end of the day, every cell carrier is essentially the same in their policies, business models and procedures.

My point was that Sprint seems to launch numerous programs that either unnecessary (Ready Now) or are later retracted because they cost the company too much money (Sprint Premier).

I work for Verizon, When I leave I will be changing to sprint unlimited data FTW
