AT&T Confirms Device Upgrade Fee Rising to $36

Facts were checked, due to the fact that they asked me to return a phone that they were sending me. Tried to call and have them cancel because, the person that found the phone, called me to return it. Not without trying to access it and realized they couldn't. But, the point is, I paid for the phone and yes, I sucked it up because I lost it. However, when I explained the situation, the rep politely asked me to return the phone when I get it but, the deductible would not be refundable. I just thought that was outrageous, considering, if I had been foolish enough to do so, they could made another 150 from the same phone. I understand they are in the business to make money, as is any business and ATT itself, is no different. As for a phone not lasting two years... Maybe, people should invest in cases for their phones. Yet, another choice to make. You like the phone without a case, then suffer having a broken phone when you drop it or whatever.

So, end point, I had a choice to make. Either give them the phone back and lose $150 or keep the phone, since I've already paid for it. We all have choices to make, when it comes to the fees that we choose to pay. Either pay the upgrade fee or don't.
