Everybody complains about T-mobile's crappy coverage and data speeds, wonder why? Maybe if companies like verizon didnt buy up all the spectrum that they use, then never use it and just sit on it for the purpose of anti-competitive behaviour, maybe T-mobile would have better coverage and data speeds.

T-mobile would have had a chance if they wanted it! They don't even want to run a cellular company here in the US anymore so I really don't see a point to your argument also Verizon has a very solid 3g network and So far really decent 4g network and they are building their network out everyday so I entirely miss your point. Verizon is actually building a network so your post is a complete miss fire. Anyone else agree or disagree?

I agree that T-Mobile might have skipped out on it thinking why invest in spectrum if they're just gonna sell to AT&T, but that doesn't mean that other, smaller, regional carriers and local carriers couldn't have used bits and pieces of that spectrum.

there is no way Verizon should be able to purchase this.... they have plenty of spectrum right now and this is just them monopolizing

I agree that smaller regional carriers should have tried to by it but my question is why didn't they ? I have not heard the whole story and that is why I am trying to figure this out but what I did a do know is T-mobile does not have a right to complain about this since they were being sold to att at the time and they didn't care about it till now. Kinda comes off as a cry baby to me!

Its usually an auction to the highest bidder... hence why regionals have issues

The same reason I don't go to auctions and bid on classic cars or priceless art... I don't think a $500 bid would win, so why waste my time?

Crappy data speed? I must be the One. My data speed is roughly 2-3 times as fast as my broadband at home!
