Lacking Support

So let me get this straight... HTC has completely abandoned their not even 2 year old EVO 4G for upgrades? Have abandoned their not even a year old Glacier (MyTouch 4G) for upgrades, and is favoring the Sensation line up OVER the Amaze? REALLY?

There is a reason HTC is not the leader anymore.

While I used to HATE Samsung, and I still wont use anything with TouchWiz, Id rather buy a Samsung phone and root it and customize it than buy another HTC phone. Why? Cause at the end of the day, Samsung is learning to support their line up longer, and HTC has discovered they dont have to....but look where it got them!

Id rather go with a company that will support updates (and yes these phones BOTH have enough space and power) than stick with ...

HTC updates way more phones, and does it way more quickly than either Samsung or Motorola.

And that's not even counting that Samsung has never put out an Android update with out it having an issue and needing to stop the update til they fixed it.

And the EVO will be 2 yrs old in June. And hardware wise is lacking quite a bit by today's standards. I'm ok with anything over 18mnths not getting a major update.

Lastly the EVO was probably one of the best supported phones of all time, no EVO owner has anything to complain about there.

You can use whatever phone brand you want, but if you expect anything other than a Nexus to get updated faster than an HTC you are mistaken.

What about their flagship GSM device, the HTC Inspire 4G? That's still on sale, and isn't even getting updated.

But it's like I always say- if you want a good device, you don't buy an Android phone.

An iPhone 3Gs can run iOS5. So I can use its (actually useful) Twitter integration in iOS, the iOS Geolocation features, and iCloud. Oh right, you kind of missed like, the 80+ new features because you've never used an iPhone because Boost Mobile doesn't carry an iPhone.

I think your face needs a major update 😁

Your iPhone 3G S is outdated. You need to upgrade to a 4S...

Two year old phones should get major updates? Wow. I think that's a pretty high bar. I don't know if that's ever even happened. I would never expect a phone older than one year to get a major update.
