Sprint, T-Mobile, Others Look to Preserve FCC Power

Many people have seen this coming from miles away... it has been a work in progress for a while now. And with everyone scrambling to build out LTE networks, little do they realize that the only FCC rule still applicable will be the two-networks-to-a-technology rule... since CDMA and GSM will both be supplanted, we will no longer "need" four national carriers to satisfy the rule. Anyone can guess who will be the two who remain. This will make that solution look even more "convenient"... less choices available, but still a "choice" remaining so that the government has an excuse to tell us all to shut up and stop complaining.
