AT&T to Top 5 Percenters: We Warned You
Screw you AT&T!
I'm not a fan of Sprint but at least they offer unlimited data. Whether or not they'll continue to do that once they deploy LTE remains to be seen.
Why can't AT&T and Verizon do what T-Mobile does. Instead of capping, just slow down the users speed. I much prefer that system. I personally would not care if AT&T and Verizon slowed down the user to something reasonable like 1Mbps for the reminder of their billing cycle.
The current system AT&T and Verizon use just plain sucks. 2GB is ridiculously low nowadays. This is not 2007. 2GB is unrealistic especially if you use a tablet.

"Throttling" is slowing down connection speed.
It would help your credibility if you knew what you were talking about.

Why Thank you Captain Obvious. No, I was complaining about being charged extra after one goes over their 2GB allowance. I was referring to the newer 2GB plans and not the unlimited plans affected in the article. Maybe I used the wrong terms I apologize but I meant that I would RATHER have my connection speed slowed down INSTEAD of being charged an additional $10 per GB overage charges. I'm on Verizon and thats what they do. Luckily I signed up when they were offering 4GB so I'm ok

besides, your rant about data limits is a bit off topic....just sayin' is all.

lol true but it's related. 😛
what is a whimp?
their/there.... oops...
And no, I actually have a large screen HD tv and my home puter has a large screen HD monitor...so I have no desire to watch videos on a screen that makes me squint...
I can't think of any video that is so intriguing or compelling as to make it absolutely necessary that I watch it on my phone.
But that is just me.
You mileage may vary
i'm not so much concerned about my credibility as i am with pointing something out.
