AT&T are so full of themselves

There's no incentive to being on an Unlimited plan, if they are going to throttle users at 2GB.

They are trying to force people to upgrade to the 3GB plans, just to get off the unlimited plans.

I don't know why people stay with them. iPhone aside.

That's provided they don't start throttling until 2GB. The way I read it, if the top 5% in a region have only used 1GB, AT&T is STILL liable to throttle those users.

2GB is ridiculously low. If that's indeed true I'd consider switching to Sprint.

Atleast T-Mobile has a specific defined throttle limit spelled out.

I usually respect what you have to say even though most of the time you're wrong but now you sound just plain delusional

I would take AT&T throttled plans over Sprints struggling data speeds any day.

I'm not so blind as to think that AT&T is the best carrier, period. I believe that each region has a stronger network. In my area, it's AT&T...with everything I do with my phone, i'm using about 1.8 GB a month...so no big deal.

I got hit with the email and text about being in the top 5% when I just barely grazed 2GB with about 8 days left in my billing cycle..kind of pissed me off.

Their crappy network works half the time where I live, most of the time I'm lucky to get 3G. They are doing the same thing to customers that use their DSL internet service. I should have kept the internet service I had before at least they told you up front they were going to hose you.
AT&T is just trying to get customers to give up their unlimited data package and then charge whatever they want.

I used 11GB before being throttled. It varies on the region you're in they told me. Like, the Dallas region's 5% is different than NYC's.

Maybe you should stop defending AT&T. I know what the word means. It means to slow down the connection. AKA a cap.

Didn't know I was defending ATT.

If you know what throttle is, then you would know it isn't a cap on data. It's a cap on data speed.
