The idea that the sole metric one should use to measure the quality of an app store is the number of apps is best described as 'naive'....

The number of apps in the Apple and Android stores are grossly inflated due to the fact that things like e-books, wallpaper and themes are counted as 'apps' are counted as 'apps' and many apps are double counted if they are available in a 'lite' version, and God only knows how many different versions of 'Angry Birds' are out there now...and many of the apps duplicate the functionality of other apps.....I mean...exactly how many weather apps does anyone really need

I've never had any difficulty finding an app that did what I needed in Blackberry App World, it is quite true that I do not have access to the fart apps in Apple's App Store, or to all the malware that is rampant in the Android Market...but somehow I manage to survive.....

Adding support for some Android Apps will be very beneficial....
