Say what?
They are bundling optional services at discounted price. No one said you HAD to buy the package.

I would recommend reading and understanding what the issue is prior to ranting.

I read it just fine verizon already raised my bill, and they have nerve trying to squeeze more money out of me. Who cares if it's an option before you know it they will try to force backup assistance on me! Screw them.

First of all, you need to know the difference between a service and a fee. A fee is something like the Federal Universal Service Fee, where the government assesses a fee to Verizon to subsidize rural netowrk deployment. Since there is no such thing as taxing a company (you can only tax a person), Verizon can either have its customers, employees, or shareholders pay that tax. Right or wrong, usually it's the customers.

A service is something Verizon or another company, provides for a cost, such as voice, data, texting, etc. In this case $12.99 for a few optional services that otherwise would be more expensive isn't a bad deal at all.

First try and learn to spell. Second, I work customer service at Verizon Wireless and idiots like you are what makes my hair fall out. Its a completely optional package that we aren't even required to offer. Contrary to your belief we have plenty of other much less whiny people who are already paying our bills, so drag your knuckles out the door and come back when you've got a shred of intelligence with you.

First, let me say that I agree with you that this offering is optional and Verizon is not forcing it to anyone. I also find it to be a fair deal. Those that want all these services, can find solitude in saving some cash.

Secondly, while I agree with you on the first, I find your attitude is reminiscent of big carrier ego. You essentially have come across as the "We don't need you" tone. This is what I find most disturbing in many Verizon employees and one of the reasons why I am not a subscriber of such party.

I appreciate your understanding, but this isn't just a Verizon issue. This is an issue with American customers everywhere.

Someone needs to send out a memo that says "Just because you bought something from us doesn't mean that we need to wipe the spit from your mouth and blow your nose for you." This annoying feeling of entitlement is what bugs me. You knew the prices going in, you knew the stipulations of the contract, and yet you think whining is going to get you your way and that's just not how it works. And honestly, if the biggest thing you can complain about is services that you are not even required to sign up for...

Then I'd say Verizon's doing a damn fine job.

You serious dude? Nobody is holding a gun to your head and telling you to buy the bundle- therefore it is a SERVICE, not a fee.

Your incessant whining across multiple threads is beyond annoying.
