200mb for $15
I thought it was 200mb for $15 not 250mb.
Anyways looks like ATT is trying to make an extra $5 for the 300mb.
...
It was 200 for smart phones and 250 for tablets.

Prior Smartphone plan was $15 for up to 200MB, overage rate was $15 for an additional 200 MB (even if you only went over minimally).
New is $20 for up to 300MB, overage of $20 for an additional 300 MB.
If someone had used over 200MB but under 300MB they would have previously paid $30, now $20.
You could look at it as AT&T getting $5 more for the plan, or a bit of a savings for people that push the 200 MB cap. Some win, some lose.
In the long run, likely OK

That the caps on data are being raised...I suspect that over time this is what will happen, every couple of years you'll be allowed more data....in 10 years the cap will probably be 50 GB or 100 GB...as capacity increases and data speeds get faster, costs decline and the caps go up....all in all a good thing...
