LightSquared needs to give it up already.
From their announcement, their plan sounded fantastic, but I was always skeptical. Now it seems once they embezzled money from all these companies that are relying on a 4G technology to get their services at a competition level with AT&T and Verizon are out cash to build anything of their own.
At this point, it would be best to give away the spectrum to the companies that invested, in the amount they invested.
