I'm not sold on "Dyle", either, but they claim it's "fun, friendly and a 'wink' to retro" (as in the channel "dial" on a 1970s TV.)
I don't see why a font would be an issue. Many fonts look like that, and companies that use them don't own them. Companies that make them own them (font companies.) Besides, that is not the same font as the Syfy logo.
MediaFLO was broadcast, but it was a completely separate network, with shaky buy-in from the content companies, and it cost too much. This is actually driven by the content companies (very key) and it's free.
