You're crazy. No other way to put it.

I have a Samsung Galaxy 500 (GT-I5500). This is a phone that comes standard with a 600Mhz processor, I have updated the Device to Android 2.2.2, and it works phenominally. Since I bought the phone (at christmas) It has never, one single time, ever frozen, I have never had an app crash, and going through the menus, there is zero lag. Yes, this phone has less menu lag then the 1.5 Ghz dual core Nitro, and it is 600Mhz. Also, for some gaming, got Angry Birds. When I load angry-birds on my iPod 4 (1 Ghz processor) it runs with lag for the first 1 to 2 minutes. When I load angry birds with the I5500, there is no lag at all. It runs perfectly, smoothly, and nicely the whole way through.

So yeah, 600Mhz is more than fast enough for an android device. Anybody who tells you different either wants 1) 3D gaming or 2) for you to call them a liar.
