alright... so basically what we are being told is that they are putting less time and effort into the phone itself. so they can rush it to market.

in personal opinion i foresee this being a bad thing. less time and money means cheaper phones and cheaper phones mean easily broken.

if this is any indication as to what phones are goin to turn in to then i say keep on keepin on with what we have now.

just my opinion....

This is an advance in technology, that addresses a real engineering challenge in any touch-screen phone.

Also, striking the right balance between cost and quality is a major challenge in engineering absolutely every phone. No phone is engineered with a "cost is no object" mentality (with the possible exception of a Vertu or similar $12,000 phone.)
