Kankakee, really?!
First off, this is a location that nobody knows about or cares about. Bad starter spot
Also, if they're implanting their own LTE tech into the multimode towers, why are they then pairing with Clearwire and the other one (the one with the GPS problems) for their LTE?
And finally....FINALLY they put out the multimode towers. They've been saying "they're coming" for the past year now. They need to push these faster to get better coverage to appease the whinny customer.s

Im assuming this is just their test market. And they didnt want to do it in a super huge city. Gives them a chance to test it out before a full deployment happens

best term there, if something messes up not a lot of people will be affected
...
It cannot affect no one bc there are no LTE devices out there for anyone to be affected. 🤣 🤣

I think the people of Kankakee would care & it's not as small as you think. Just short of 30,000 people & about 60 miles south of Chicago proper, which the last time I checked IS a MAJOR market. And since the Chicagoland area is made up of more than just Chicago, it's pretty safe to say that the 60 miles in between is also heavily populated. It's not just a speck in the middle of a corn field. And no I am not from Kankakee. Idiot.
