This is just stupid and anti-consumer. I can't figure out for the life of me how the top 2 carriers keep their customers.
...
This is completely ridiculous even as an employee of Verizon. Hopefully lots of customer's and employees stress their concern over this as even as an employee we will be charged.
...
i agree even if you pay through the vzw.com/paymybill using a Visa card you will be charged the extra $2. HOW REDICULAS IS THIS!!!!
...
SOunds like Bank of America.... 🤣 👿
...
It shows you how much verizon cares about their employees, doesn't it?
...
This makes even less sense when you consider that the postal service is begining to cut mail sorting facilities to shed cost and drive up delivery times. The turnaround on a traditional mailed bill will not be able to be met its due date unless it is extended.
All this looks like is a way VZW is looking to profit on those customers who are trying to do the right thing and pay their bill on time. Traditional mail will soon be so slow they will have late fees on mailed in payments and then if you try to pay online you will have a $2 fee.
Insanity!!!
...
Set up Auto Bill Pay!
...
That's true. Automatic monthly recurring payments.
Saves time.
Then again that is why I am already with an excellent MVNO.
No post-paid BS with all their contracts, taxes and fees.
...
Yahoos like you are why they get away with this kind of nonsense.
...
Because I like Auto Bill Pay? 🙄
...
Because you use auto bill pay to justify a fee.
...
Tmobile charges $5 to make a payment over the phone with a rep!!! Everyone is starting to charge a fee for everything to offset costs. Im not using it as an excuse to justify it, i just said I use it, and that others should to avoid a fee and needless crying.
...
Needless crying is all it is. Don't like it? Go to an MVNO!!! I did and I could not be happier.
It is like channel surfing on TV. Don't like the program?? Change the f'in channel!!!!!
...
Not because you like auto-pay, thats fine, but saying others should use it or incur this ripoff.
...
It's just 2 lousy bucks a month, people. Is it gonna make you poor? You can't even get much for $2 these days. Why are you crying over it?
