AT&T Wireless Preps New IM Device, Service
Release Date???!!!
Does anyone have any solid info about the release of this product? I contacted ATT both locally and through telesales, and neither could give me a timeframe...telesales hadn't even heard of it

According to our systems info the release date for this is suposed to be today, 9/15. I looked on the website and couldnt find anything. I work in an AWS call center and no one knows anything about it.

The release date for the ogo is on 9/20. at least in the stores. That is what we are being told.

Actually... I'm surprised the info leaked out at all. I too work with AT&T Wireless in retail and I worked with a small team back in May with regards to OGO. We really didn't want the word to get out till' the near-release date... this thing kicks major ass! there are only about 12 of them in circlation as of now... that I was told... I wish it could view full HTML!!!

They keep pushing it back...I'm thinking more towards late Oct now...keeping it outside of SideKick 2's competition window. Plus putting it closer to Christmas makes for easier marketing and bigger inital sales...

I hope this device is going to be released on the 27th. I'm really anticipating this. I've been looking for an alternative to a sidekick and this is it. I'm pleased with its price I just paid $300 for a new PDA and Don't have the money for the Sidekick 2. Is there anyway to preorder it?
