Looks like the HSPA+ 1900 band will be put on their upcoming 3G phones

How will T-Mobile take advantage of the UMTS roaming agreement from AT&T? Majority of T-Mobile's 3G phones do not have 1900MHz 3G. I know they might have the OEMs start putting them in, for next years phones.

When pentaband phones become more common it will make a difference. And not only TMO. For both GSM carriers.

Then again all is speculation.

The majority of AT&T's 3G network has been switched from the 1900MHz to their 850Mhz band for better coverage. I'm guessing thats how T-Mo will be able to utilize it.

my vibrant phone has 3G on 1900/2100 and AWS 1700/2100 as do all other smart phones i've considered buying
