might not have "used Carrier IQ's software to examine the contents of customer phones...", but that doesn't mean any employee(s) with know-how within the company didn't.

Or illegally by the FBI or other Law Enforcement agencies for that matter.

Break the law??? They dont need to anymore; Ever heard of the Patriot Act? And just last week the Defense Authorization Act was passed on top of it.

I have heard of Patriot Act, yes. Bush did a great job bringing that out. I have not heard of the Defense Authorization act, however, but if you are comparing it to the Patriot act, I can only imagine how many more rights that act strips off the common individual.

I know... Amazing,how our "media" buries anything important and hair raising like the passage of the DAA. All we hear about is Kim Kardashian,missing cute blond girls in the Bahamas and such stupidity.
