Will other carriers ever get it?

I know that T-Mobile is going to get the 7100, but will other carriers get this phone eventually?

What a quandry.....get cool gadgets first, but on a system with less coverage than brittany's belly, or wait a some time while using a network that actually allows you to communicate. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm............

The 7100t is going to t-mo.. doesn't mean there won't be a model without the t at the end for another provider.

It's quad-band. It has 850. I imagine RIM would love for all carriers to offer it. And based on the fact that Cingular and AT&T seem to be very strong with RIM, I don't see them skipping this one. Just speculation, though...

Of course other carriers will get it, it would be insane for RIM to only allow T-Mo to sale the device. Give it a couple of months, and I'm sure you'll see it available through other carriers.

Yes, I can confirm that it will be available to the other carriers. T-Mobile has a 3 month exclusive on the unit.
