4G down, half the time my 3G was white and wouldn't load any data and yes I could call and text. But heck I am not paying for unlimited data to text and call.

thats becuase everybody is full of crap and does not want to take responsibility for anything. When satellite tv goes out during a heavy storm do you call in and give them crap? No, because they didn't cause the storm. The network outage could have been caused by anything, including Magnetic interference in the ionosphere.

They also need to use their brains. These companies strive or 99.999% uptime. If i have a foot of snow outside and my dish is on the ground outside my house or on my roof, I'm not going to complain, thats just common sense. Oh boo you couldnt check FB for a few hours one day for his WHOLE YEAR, im sure Verizon reps would love to drink your tears over the phone. 😁

Yep. As long as companies maintain a 5-9s uptime, I don't see how it is an issue. Though, once they decline below that, even if it is 99.998% they should be liable to a prorated reimbursement + base amount.

Mercury is in retrograde right now that explains it, this is like the murphy's law of electronics. Nov. 24th to Dec. 14th and then everything will start working fine again.

When you're on the bleeding edge of new technology you have to expect that there are going to be some snags.....expecting 100% uptime is unrealistic, but when you're talking about a brand new network that is being set up for the first time, expecting 100% uptime is downright juvenile.

The one complaint against Verizon that is legit here is their complete lack of transparency. They never admit when there are outages, and their advertising grossly exaggerates the reliability of their network.

I believe they said 4G was down, but 3G was doing fine. So one could still get data at 3G speeds.

I do not see the problem when I would guess 85% of Verizon customers can not get 4G at all 24/7 since they still have only 3G phones and only 10-15% have upgraded to 4G phones or 4G modems??????

I "have 4G" where I live and work, but since I have a 2 yr old Droid phone that I plan to upgrade to an Iphone 4S soon (No 4G radio BTW). I will not have 4G on my phone for prob another 20 months until I upgrade to a 4G phone post 4S.

Don't cry for me Argentina. 😁
