On Thursday phonescoop wrote "AT&T has also admitted to using Carrier IQ, as have HTC and Samsung."..but in this article they state AT&T does not admit to using Carrier IQ, what gives?

AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile admitted that they use Carrier IQ's software for network management purposes, but Verizon Wireless does not.
