If this Windows Smartphone does not have bluetooth technology, memory card slot and a high resolution camera what is the use of releasing it. Rumors is that Verizon Wireless might be getting the new Treo 650 next year so for this smartphone to compete it must have all the bells and whistles the consumer are looking but still keep it at a reasonable price. The current Windows Smartphone is way over priced so I guessing this one is sure to cost a arm and a leg as well.

Definitely no Bluetooth on this one. ☹️

It's not designed to compete against something like the Treo, BTW. The Treo is a full-fledged PDA-phone.

A smartphone like this is really just a high-end phone, that happens to have a platform with much more/better software available than you'll find for just a Java or BREW phone.

It also has certain Outlook functions, but that doesn't make it a full PDA replacement. That's not the point. Smartphones are "phone-first" devices.

The manual submitted to the FCC is a draft generic manual that does not reflect the final U.S. version. That manual also mentions R-UIM (which will probably only be active in the Chinese version) and does not mention the camera-less version that appears in one of the photos.

Regardless, Bluetooth functionality needs to be specifically approved by the FCC. This filing included no such approval. If there is a version of this phone with Bluetooth, HTC will need another approval to be able to release such a phone legally here in the U.S. What the FCC just approved does not have Bluetooth.
