"....AT&T says that the FCC document "lacks all credibility"..."

How does a document released by the FCC, the Federal governing body that is run and organized by elected and appointed officials at a very very high level of government, lack credibility?

If that document lacks credibility, then who's to say Any other document, including one that supports the merger, would also lack said credibility?

This is not in the public interest. The people dont want it, and the government clearly does not want it.

At&t's constant vocal defense of their position is actuially weakening it I feel, like an angry person who yells louder and louder when others will not listen to them. Shut up already at&t, we dont want to listen to you anymo...

It lacks credibility because it wasn't voted on by the staff, which every document for that last 77 years has, as that is the OFFICIAL process. Since the documents never went through the official process, they lack the official credibility, and is just a DRAFT. They are likely not what the documents would have said if the voting process had happened. There is never a response where every singe person from the staff is in agreement on a singular document. That is why there is a whole commitee, to encourage discussion.

So yes, the documents are not credible.

I think for the FCC to release the documents is wrong. It's borderline slander, since they were never made official.

If you doubt that our federal government lacks credibility, you must have been living in a cave for your entire life.
