Complete malarkey

Except, they will to compete with Verizon.

AT&T will hire techs to do the build-out, and then lay them off once it's done. If they merged with T-Mobile, they would probably hire fewer new employees and lay off the same number upon completion. I don't see the job creation here.

TMo is going to have a workforce reduction regardless. They are not profitable at all. They have been being subsidized for years by DT. The sad part is everyone is up in arms about the acquisition but one way or the other that sinking ship called tmobile is going away.

I recall reading recently that T-Mobile was actually profitable this last quarter. If I'm remembering that incorrectly, I am certain that things had definitely improved sales wise for them.
