shame
Not that care much if att gets it or not but i wonder how much money was used to pay off the FCC from "other companies that run around while holding the goverments hand" 👿 👿
PS: MONEY IN POLITICS ARE THE GREATEST EVIL

I highly doubt it was the influence of other companies that resulted in this report. Consumers had already recognized that AT&T was blowing hot air out their rear with their talking points, so if the FCC had reported something different, it would have caused a bit of an uproar. Frankly, I think the points raised against the AT&T merger are completely valid and AT&T has not shown any shred of evidence to support their claims. More to the point, what AT&T claims is simply BS if you use any ounce of common sense. The only factual things they've said so far are that they want to merge with T-Mobile and that they want T-Mobile's spectrum (even though they really don't need it).

Just curious why there was no uproar when that whore of a company Verizon was buying up Alltel? Very similar situation when you consider all the rural spectrum that VZ locked up.

Because its different, everything AT&T and Apple does is wrong and evil. All the others are oh so honest.

AT&T and Apple ARE evil companies though.

Because when that happened, there were still several other CDMA carriers, both national and regional to choose from.
This would give the customer only one single choice for national GSM carrer. And since all the regional GSM companies run off of AT&T's network, the customer isn't getting any additonal choices in that situation either.
