AT&T, Deutsche Telekom Have Joint Venture Plan in the Wings
This is one problem with being predictable.
Just as I post a winded explanation on the previous article of AT&T's relentless directive to control the industry, this news of soliciting a cartel with DT, only proves case in point.

Or it could be a 'when in doubt deploy Plan C' option.
AT&T and DT could do a 'joint' venture and then AT&T buys DT out of that venture a year later. In theory this can bypass the whole issue they are having with the FCC and DoJ. In reality, that most likely won't happen as well as the rules in place could still classify it as a monopoly and stop it.
