Actually, I have ALWAYS been able to send and rec've mms to and from tmobile and attws. It's the cdma carriers that gsm mms was not compatible with. I have several friends who have att and/or tmobile and i've never had a problem. i think this had to be certain areas that this was a problem. just to make sure i wasn't dreaming, i sent mms messages to my friends. they rec'd AND responded. there's something fishy about that article, because intercarrier multimedia messaging has never been an issue except when dealing with cdma carriers.

I probed a little bit around the office and proved to everyone there that I wasn't crazy by sending mms to Tmobile AND ATTWS customers. Rec'd messages back from them as well. Yes, just using the phone number. Turns out that even tho I am able to use it locally, it doesn't work NATIONALLY. There are areas that have roaming agreements and use interroperable mms technology already, and that's why many local markets can use mms between GSM carriers. For instance, Cinglar has roaming Agreements with ATT in Central PA and can use this feature with ATT customers. In NYC, Cingular has agreements T...
