The quinex reference is perfect, kind of wish I'd thought of it myself.

However, I'm not sure if I understand why Apple was mentioned in the following post. I mean, I understand the reference to baked goods, but the article mentions nothing of Apple, iOS or iPhones.

An easier, and arguably more contextual joke would have read more like this:


"And blackberry has informed bakeries all over the world to stop calling their confections "blackberry Pies"..."


You see, the way I edited it is actually relevant to the article. It references both the company involved in the article AND is a parody on the type of argument these two companies are involved in.

but you keep on trying man! One of these day's you'll land the right joke at the right time!
