Yay! A phone is getting last year's version of the OS when the new version of the OS is hitting next week for other phones. 🤣

Well sir that is a thing of the past now that the Android phones have high end processors and enough memory to run the new updated features. iOS is definitely a solid mobile platform but honestly there arent any new improvements to something that other phones have already had for a while.

Also Samsung is well known to not really support OS updates on their devices. This phone really needed that update.

I for one miss the days when buying a new electronic gizmo meant that whatever form it was in when it left the store was the way it would be until the heat death of the universe.

I don't know when exactly it became common to expect periodic 'updates' of every electronic device you own, but it's irritating, and it has become a crutch for companies to excuse their failure to do things correctly the first time around. Oh sure...this product sucks, but in 6 months we'll release an update that will make it not suck.

When you didn't have updates companies had to 'get it right' the first time around. They couldn't release products with horrible bug (like the iOS 5 battery bug) and then fix it later on, they had to actually do quality cont...
