I believe the SOLE existence of government is to preserve and protect the liberty of the people. To protect us from foreign and domestic hostility. I do not believe that any governing body or individual has any more rights that of the constituents to whom it represents.

Each wireline/fiber company should be independent of each wireless company. Additionally, each wireless company really could be split into two vertically competitive carriers: Veri Wireless vs Zon Mobile and A Mobile vs T Cellular.
Now, that would create a lot of new jobs, many of them union positions to please the CWA. And, to boot, it would return legitimate competition to the domestic wireless industry.
