They do, but they're the lower end of the wireless spectrum. The most desirable customers use iPhones. They have the highest satisfaction rating, they simultaneously use their phones more while consuming less network resources (see Sprint's CEO's comment on this matter if you think this is me making this up) , and dominate the mobile development environment.
Passing on the iPhone is a great way to end up like T-Mobile or, until very recently, Sprint.
