wondering about AT&T and Tmobile future and LTE

AT&T battles the Department of Justice and other lawsuits it is facing over the proposed acquisition. AT&T has launched LTE in five markets. I wonder since AT&T says that it needs to acquire T-mobile ASAP so they don't have network problems. Is AT&T putting up LTE networks with only AT&T spectrum signals or T-mobiles as well. And just activate or upgrade their network later on. AT&T has already set up 5 LTE markets. Will this delay stop or slow down their other markets they want to launch LTE in. Maybe AT&T thought they would have already acquired T-mobile before they figured out. "OOps" we already had enough spectrum to run our network.

I have been wondering about that myself. AT&T does own AWS spectrum out west right? I was telling someone this the other day

Is that the very same Dan Hesse who at first dis'd the iPhone and now said it uses Sprints 3g more efficiently then any other phone they sell?

Please cite.when and.where Hesse dissed the iphone. He has been saying publicly for years that the iphone is a good smartphone and he wished Sprint could get it. Yes of course Sprint has tried to.field and sell iphone competitors, beginning with the Samsung Instinct and HTC Touch Vogue, and yes ads for those phones tried to show how they are competitive with the iphone, but that is not the same as dissing. Verizon also had fielded competitors to the iphone and publicly stated that they had good alternatives. What do you expect them to say if AT&T had an exclusive lock on the iphone?

So you're saying he at the time wouldn't say what he actually thought because it would hurt sprint at the time?

Just like saying that AT&T has enough spectrum to deploy 4g.

;)

(not trolling just pointing out these CEOs will say anything to give their company an edge.)
