A government official overseeing a lawsuit, in which the plaintiff IS the government, is allowing more people to jump onto the governments side?
hmm....
The People == The Government == Everyone in America
Is that so hard to understand?
Every person, organization or corporation who stands to be impacted by a proposed government action (i.e. approval of competition-stifling merger) is what's legally referred to as an interested party to the lawsuit.
All interested parties have the right to express their positions in a court of law. What the judge basically did today was affirm (duh) that the wireless competitors will be impacted in some manner by the actions t...

"if you don't like what's going on in this country, move to another"
I've heard people say that before, and it generally strikes me as intellectual sloth.
I don't like what's going on, so I will work to change it, not accept it because we aren't as bad as some other random country.
We as americans are so brain washed... Look up Van Jones one of this centuries smartest people 🙂 his four square grid to change our economy will blow your mind on how simplistic it is and the solutions proposed by him. Dont call him a socialist he is just a realist.
But back to the actual post topic. I approve of this logical move. Best of luck to Cspire and Sprint.
How about those new Tmobile unlimited 4G no contract plans?
Win!!! 😁

In what world does the US government actually represent its people? I can't think of a single thing in the last ten years that hasn't been done IN SPITE of what the people want. Our constitution means absolutely nothing, our freedom is being limited more and more every day and your suggestion is to move?
Your hyperbole (which cheapens your argument) aside, government has often become in spite of the people. A major reason for that is big business influence in the legislative and executive processes.

Both your facts and anti government opinion are off kilter.
One, the Sprint and C Spire lawsuits are separate from the DoJ lawsuit. They are not on "the governments [sic] side."
Two, nor is a federal judge on "the governments [sic] side."
Three, a federal judge has no motivation to increase the workload of the federal court system unless a case has merit.
