2012-2013 is going to be a very exciting year for Sprint. 🙂

lol. You actually only need to use one radio with the new phones. Tri band devices. The EVO 3D is one of them 🙂

Sprint Vision Network. All towers will be able to transmit all 3 frequencies 800mhz, 1900mhz, and 2.5 ghz. The EVO 3D for example already has that tri band radio that will be able to communicate with the towers and depending on how far it is from the specific tower the tower will essential feed the right frequency based on the distance away from the tower. 😎

🙂 Sprint's towers dont broadcast the 2.5Ghz band, Clearwire does. Sprint owns approx 54% stake in Clearwire and uses it 4G Wimax. The new towers will be capable of numerous spectrums including Lightsqaured's 1600Mhz pending FCC approval. Look about a quarter way down the page - http://www.bgr.com/2011/10/07/live-from-sprin ts-strategy-update-event/ --------------------------------------------- ----------------- LTE/CDMA phones will be available in 2012, but no LTE/Wimax/CDMA phones will exist - http://www.bgr.com/2011/10/07/sprint-to-launc h-15-dual-mode-4g-ltecdma-smartphones-and-tab lets-beginning-mid-2012/
