Is really getting sad, depressing and pathetic. All of these companies need to grow up and realize that they are impeding progress, not facilitating it.

You forgot to blame AT&T and all the Democrats that ever have lived. Poor Sprint is just a victim. Also blame Hugo Chevez, Fidel Castro and everyone who lives in the European Union. They all should give money to Sprint. Oh I forgot, North Korea, them too. And most of all the State of New Jersey. Because Eric lives there.

This is becoming pathetic. You would think that these multi-billion dollar corporations would be hurting for money the way they are sueing each other. Wow...these people are suppose to be the leaders of the civilized world, to me they seem like a bunch of 1st graders, whinning and crying because they aren't getting enough attention. This is just annoyling sad. ☹️

Blaming Democrats is the right thing to do, since all they seem to want to do is blame Bush for tbe fact that they suck at accomplishing anything in the present. That said, a good share of Republicans also suck.

So true, then again, the Republicans still blame Jimmy Carter.

I won't pretend to know the finer points of their arguments toward each other or who has the rights to what patents in this endless war between Samsung and Apple, however I find it hard to believe that either of them has the rights to as much innovation as they claim to.

I love my iPhone, that said I know it is not the be-all, end-all of smartphones and Android devices are better in some ways. While Apple does a great job of taking things and improving them (the "it just works" motto holds true) they are hardly the innovators they claim to be.

I have to agree Apple is not an innovator, all they do is take ideas and sometimes make it better. Even though I have to admit this 4G dilenma that they have going on, I can grow a 2 foot beard by the time the Iphone has 4G 🤣 ...The Ipad, very nice idea, extended battery life a great idea , Siri I applaud them on that one , stuck on 3G not so much...Don't get me wrong I love my MacBook but they have to get going with 4G...

They don't roll with 4G, because for most people its not available. Apple is all about appealing to as many people as possible. Plus they know millions of people will buy it based solely on brand.

Actually, there are reportedly 312 million Americans and Verizon cover 186 million of them with LTE. And that's not even considering WiMAX.

At least in North America, "not-really-4G-but-we-will-call-it-4G-anyway" is a reality.

Big Red has just about the same amount of LTE coverage as AT&T did with 3G when the iPhone 3G was released. Didn't stop Apple then from creating a 3G phone back then now did they?

I love my Apple products as well but I think Apple made a mistake not releasing an LTE equipped iPhone at this time. If battery life and component size were issues, then maybe they should have taken a cue from Motorola. Sure it's got the little hump at the end but the Droid RAZR is pretty damn thin. I was pretty impressed.

Battery life is reportedly to be about the same as the Droid Bionic too which isn't bad. If the battery life is decent on the bionic with LTE and Android, imagine how better it would be on an iOS based device. LTE is battery consuming, yes...
