Considering returning my Samsung Galaxy S II and waiting to see if the LTE version becomes available soon, or maybe the new HTC LTE phone. I like the S2 and all, but LTE is more likely to come sooner than later in my city (Orlando)...

Im assuming they will have an LTE SGS3 next summer seeing how they have an HD LTE SGS2 in other parts of the world. The 3 major US carriers will have multiple LTE markets launched by next summer.

I totally agree. Even with Wimax based 4G device I was happy, LTE is gonna be sick fast. Thank god for consumerism lol

LTE will be slick but currently I am getting 5MB with AT&T on HSPA+ which is faster than what the LTE VZ device in the retail store is getting. I guess I just don't see how much faster I need the network to be.

FYI its Megabit(Mb) not Megabyte(MB). I can easily get 8Mb on Sprints Wimax, and VZW LTE hit 10Mb and higher. LTE is the future, here a speed test done while ATT was testing its LTE network http://www.bgr.com/2011/09/06/htc-jetstream-4 g-speeds-shown-off-on-live-att-lte-network-vi deo/ Not only is LTE extremely faster than HSPA+ and Wimax, it provides an huge increase in bandwidth/capacity and really low latency.

Thanks for the correction. I agree about it being the future I just don't have the need for it to be faster at this time. Damn typing on the iPad always gets me in trouble.

Autocorrect gets me when im using my phone, apparently it knows wat Im gonna type better than me lol. most of the population wont fully know the capabilities of LTE and have been happy with 3G. Yea LTE will be great, mainly its will be for data intensive svcs like video chat/streaming and many business applications.
