Please fix prorates too

Why are carriers billing 1.5 months when they don't have to?

they use month in advance billing because alot of people cacnel and dont pay the final bill. All service companies do this so you get charged remainder of your current cycle and credited the same amount of time for your old service and then a month in advance charge

I know how prorates work and that everyone does it, I just never understood why they do more then a month and a few days. But that makes sence.

I just got a check in the mail from my cable company, because I canceled mid-cycle when I moved I got a refund on the amount that I had pre-paid the previous billing cycle...

Which is nice....
