To follow up my own post, I examined the FCC OET certification documents for the iPhone 4S. The tests on file with the FCC do not indicate that the 4S supports band class 10 nor 14. So, if Sprint does deploy CDMA1x 800-900 (using its SMR 800-900 MHz spectrum) and/or CDMA1x 1900 (using its PCS "G" block 1900 MHz spectrum), the 4S will not be able to use that bandwidth.
